DO YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR COVID-19?
Do not let COVID-19 make you miss on your special day! Ww are still working and taking request for events. In order to keep everyone safe we having an outdoor events(weather permitted) or in well ventilated area. We are also opened to face painting if your guests number is limited to small events. We do take more precautions and measures during this time. If you are still uncertain about face painting; temporary tattoos is a great alternative to face painting during COVID since they are applied to any body part but not the face. Balloons can be done on site or deliver to you depending on your event's location (minimum apply for balloon pop delivery); ask us, we are here to work with you on making your day special.
WHICH SAFETY MEASURES ARE TAKEN DURING COVID-19?
Our artists will wear mask at all time at your event. We are taking extra precautions and sanitizing after each guests. This means that our water is always fresh and contains special face painting bath bubble to keep it clean. We follow a safe distance rule with those who are not getting painted. Guests are not permitted to stay in line; numbers will be given and called instead.

For tattoos, each guest's skin is cleaned with alcohol swab prior to the application. We have hand sanitizers and wipes at our station. Our kits are sanitized after each events.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you decide to cancel the event, your $50-$150 deposit is non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for inclement weather, but can apply your deposit to an alternate date if within 2months from original event's date, so please secure an alternate indoor location for your event in advance.There is a space on the booking form where you can specify the alternate location. If you need to cancel the event for some other reason, please do so within 3 days or you will owe us the 50 % of the contracted amount. Should you need to reschedule your event, please do so at least 7 days prior and we will make every effort to meet your needs.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept CashApp,Venmo, Paypal, checks and all major credit cards to secure your booking.The remaining balance will be due on your event's date in the form of cash/check (free of charge) or credit/debit card payment with a 3.5% processing fee.
WHICH CITIES DO YOU WORK IN?
We travel to Virginia including Alexandria, Fairfax, Vienna,The entire Washington Dc, and Maryland including Columbia, Bowie, Hyattsville, Clarksville, Beltsville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Laurel, Ellicott City, Montgomery County, Howard County, Prince George County and more.
HOW FAR DO WE TRAVEL?
We travel up to 40 min or 35 miles from the zip code 20906. A fee is applied if service is needed outside of the area.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
There are no travel fees, as long as you are within 35 miles or 40 min of zip code 20906. Outside of this distance will incur travel fee and require a 90 min to 2h minimum booking depending on location.. Holiday rates are slightly higher.
FOR HOW LONG SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
We recommend booking us according to the number of children's you are expecting at your party. When booking an artists, please be aware that it takes time to create designs on this site. While we do offer all sizes of designs and some quicker than others, they all take at least a few minutes each. We can paints approximately 12-15 faces within an hour for birthdays with combined designs/larger selection and 17-20 for large events with quicker designs/ smaller selection. Each person is different and some people, especially little people, require a little more "wiggle time" than others. Please allow enough time for the artists to serve your guests. We don't like leaving when our work was not finished, but we may have prior commitment and won't always be able to extend time on site.
CAN A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND HELP PAINT FACES?
We would have to say no. Due to the nature of our business, there are strict hygiene guidelines to follow. We only use cosmetic grade face paints and my brushes are regularly washed and dipped in alcohol and specific soap to prevent the spread of bacteria. We do not allow others to use our kit to ensure that these safety guidelines are followed. All of these precautions help keep your guests safe and healthy. These are the rules we follow and we hope you understand. If the crowed is large inquired for additional services or stencils designs.
WHAT TYPE OF PAINT DO YOU USE?
The face paints used are non-toxic, FDA compliant, and water-based -- specially formulated for use on children´s skin. Designs can easily be removed with mild soap and water. on our kits, we have Snazaroo, TAG, FAB, Diamond FX Brands.
WE USE ONLY COSMETIC- GRADE, USFDA COMPLIANT FACE AND BODY PAINT
Please be advised that acrylic paint and tempera paints are non-toxic and safe for children to use as craft, but ARE NOT FOR USE ON THE SKIN. Craft, acrylic, and other “non-toxic” paint may contain nickels as well as other ingredients, which can cause severe allergic reactions in some individuals. Also, these paints are hard to remove from the skin, often causing irritation in just the removal of them.
WHAT SHOULD WE PROVIDE?
Nothing! We provide all equipment which includes chairs, table and artist materials. However, on corporate, community or large event or event at community/neighborhood center we may ask if a table can be provided to reduce our load.
HOW LONG DOES EACH FACE TAKE TO BE PAINTED?
Full faces designs take 5-8 minutes depending on complexity while smaller standard designs will take 2-5 minutes on average. A simple design can be painted on a small child in less than 2 minutes. Private session can take 20-30 min per person depending on the design.
WHAT DESIGNS DO YOU OFFER?
For face painting: your guests will have one large boards to choose from, full faces and cheek art designs. For balloon twisting: we provide board with sample from simple one balloon designs to more complex design s that use more than 4 balloons. Custom designs are offered for theme parties and events at no extra charge. Please call to talk over your theme and what ideas we can come up with.
WHAT ABOUT GLITTER AND TEMPORARY TATTOOS?
Glitter tattoos have special cosmetic glitter affixed to a tattoo using a skin-safe adhesive. They last 4 days or longer and are water-resistant. Airbrush tattoos are applied using a airbrush pump, stencils and guns spray. They usually last 4-7 days or even longer. Designs can be removed with alcohol. This is not included in the standard face painting package so please note if you are also interested in adding glitter/temporary tattoos for your event.
WE USE CLEAN WATER, CLEAN BRUSHES AND CLEAN, SPONGES.
Our water is always fresh and clean. Our spray bottles are disinfected and contain fresh clean water. We disinfect all brushes after every event. Our sponges are clean and sanitized. Our paints have preservatives that inhibit bacterial growth. We disinfect our hands using hand sanitizer.
WE DESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO PAINT EVERYONE
In order to reduce the risk of disease spread, persons who are sick, have head lice, or skin infections WILL NOT be painted. Please do not allow your child(ren) to be painted if they are ill to avoid spreading any contamination to other guests..
